ORLANDO, Fla. (June, 2022) – AAU Wrestling is ready to head towards the summer with the 2022 AAU Scholastic Duals. Wrestlers will be traveling to the Orange County Convention Center West Concourse in sunny, Orlando, Florida. Who will walk away with a title, and who will be pinned down to the mat?
 
Competitors from all across the country are heading to Orlando now to take part in the 2022 AAU Scholastic Duals. This is the 24^th year that AAU Wrestling will host the event at the Orange County Convention Center.
 
An estimated 3,000 wrestlers are preparing to take to the mats. Athletes and teams are being split into five divisions; All-star, Developmental, Community 1 & 2, and Girls. With wrestlers from 20 states and every part of the country attending, the widespread event will bring some of the best competitors in the nation to battle it out on the mat.
 
The six-day event will begin with weigh-ins, starting with Community 1 & 2 divisions weighing in on Thursday, June 16. District All-Star, Developmental, and the Girls division will weigh in on June 19. Brackets will open after pool play is completed.
 
This is one of the last tournaments before the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Greensboro, North Carolina. Wrestlers will get a chance to see some of the country’s top competition before heading into their AAU Junior Olympic training.
