JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (July 3, 2025) – The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and Visit Jacksonville announced the AAU Track and Field Primary Nationals and Club Championships are returning to Jacksonville, Florida July 6-12, 2025. Last year’s event brought in more than $11 million in economic impact to the Jacksonville area. This year’s event is projected to bring in even more attendees.

The AAU Primary National Championships will take to the starting line on July 6 to 7 with the AAU Club Championships taking place July 8 to July 12. This premier event will showcase more than 5,000 athletes, ranging in age from 5 years old to the 17-18-year-old division. Attendees are travelling across the country and internationally to compete for an AAU National Championship and the chance to qualify for the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Houston, Texas.
Furthermore, athletes and clubs will compete for National AAU Club Champion Awards and AAU Club/Team Awards. AAU National Championship awards will be awarded to the top three (3) clubs/teams with the highest overall point totals of all divisions and AAU Club awards will be given out to the top club/team in each age division.

This will be the second time that AAU Track and Field hosts the AAU Primary National and Club Championships in Jacksonville, Florida at the University of North Florida’s (UNF) Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium.
In recent years, the UNF Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium has been renovated to include nine (9) Olympic-quality lines and has a capacity of 9,400 people. The stadium is now suited to holding all field events including jump pits, pole vault locations, and includes designated areas for throwing events.
