Proud Member of an Esteemed National Sports Organization
The Southwestern District of the Amateur Athletic Union, officially the Southwestern Amateur Athletic Union, is part of a nationally recognized organization. We help sporting teams and individuals by directing them to AAU sports within the district.
Fostering Uniformity in Amateur Sports
The philosophy of "Sports for All, Forever" is shared by more than 720,000 participants and over 150,000 volunteers. The AAU was founded in 1888 to establish standards and uniformity in amateur sports. During its early years, the AAU served as a leader in international sports, representing the U.S. in international sports federations.
