2024 AAU 14 & Under Indoor National Championships

YPSILANTI, Mich. (February 20, 2024) – With the AAU Track and Field Indoor season coming to its final few events, the AAU 14 & Under Indoor National Championships gave us a look at what is to come for the season finale at the 2024 AAU Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
Eastern Michigan University’s Bowen Field House in Ypsilanti, Michigan held the 2024 AAU 14 & Under Indoor National Championships for the ninth (9th) year. Runners from across the country sprinted to the finish line this past weekend.
This year’s field featured over 800 athletes from nineteen (19) states and one country. Michigan, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, and Ontario, Canada were all represented.

The AAU was founded in 1888 to establish standards and uniformity in amateur sports. During its early years, the AAU served as a leader in international sport representing the U.S. in the international sports federations. The AAU worked closely with the Olympic movement to prepare athletes for the Olympic Games. After the Amateur Sports Act of 1978, the AAU has focused its efforts into providing sports programs for all participants of all ages beginning at the grass roots level. The philosophy of "Sports for All, Forever," is shared by nearly 800,000 participants and over 150,000 volunteers.
