2023 AAU Track and Field Primary Nationals and Club Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 3, 2023) – Runners are set to take their marks for the 2023 AAU Track and Field Primary Nationals and Club Championships. The starting blocks will be set and ready to go beginning on Monday, July 10 and will run through July 15 at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida.
The nation’s best runners will converge on the Central Florida area to compete for an AAU national title and a chance to qualify for the 2023 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Des Moines, Iowa, running from July 28 - August 5, 2023. The AAU Junior Olympic Games is the largest multi-sport event in the nation with the track and field event drawing approximately 14,000 participants each year. It will be the 57th edition of the Games, which first began in 1967.
The younger age groups (ages 5 - 8) will compete in the Primary Nationals which begin on Monday, July 10 and conclude on Tuesday, July 11. More than 580 athletes will participate.
On July 11, AAU Club Championships will begin, bringing approximately 3,800 boys and girls athletes (ages 10-18) to compete for an AAU Championship. Clubs will be traveling from 28 different states as well as teams from Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Curacao, and Mexico.
