HUNTERSVILLE, NC. (May 22, 2025) - The stage is set for one of the most exciting youth diving events of the season: the 2025 AAU Diving Red-White-Blue National Championship, taking place this Memorial Day Weekend. Since its debut in 2014, this prestigious meet has grown to become a favorite among athletes and fans alike, blending high-level competition with regional pride and national recognition.
This year, the event is expected to draw an estimated 380 athletes from 35 different states, all of whom have earned their spot through rigorous regional qualifiers. These athletes will come together and determine which region of the country reigns supreme in diving.
The unique format separates athletes into three regional teams- Red (West Coast), White (Midwest/Central U.S.), and Blue (East Coast). The result? A spirited competition that highlights regional strength while fostering unity and sportsmanship across club lines. The top twelve divers of each division will earn an AAU Championship medal.
“The AAU Red, White & Blue Nationals is one of the most anticipated events on the youth diving calendar, bringing together top athletes from across the country to compete for individual and team national titles,” said Lewis Fellinger, AAU National Aquatics Chair. “Unlike traditional club-based meets, this event uniquely requires all athletes to drop individual club affiliations and compete as part of regional teams,”
Beyond the medals and accolades, the AAU Red-White-Blue Nationals is a celebration of talent, determination, and the values that make youth sports so impactful. As the three regions prepare to face off in what promises to be a weekend full of unforgettable moments, one question looms large: Which team will rise to the top in 2025?
