RIVERSIDE, Cali. (July 23, 2025) – The 2025 AAU Diving National Championships wrapped up an extraordinary eight days of competition at the Riverside Aquatic Complex with the final events and ceremonies celebrating individual excellence, collegiate aspirations, and overall team success.

Day 8 National Champions:

• College/Senior Open Women’s 1M: Sydney Guidara – Unattached
• College/Senior Open Men’s 3M: Colten Cryer – GC Divers

Beyond the medal events, the day featured two hallmark experiences designed to support athlete growth beyond the podium:

College Divers Showcase

Athletes participated in a College Divers Showcase, where they performed six dives of their choice in front of a national audience—including college coaches across the country. This exhibition provided a critical opportunity for recruitment, visibility, and a demonstration of individual skill and style.

College Recruitment Seminar

In partnership with AAU Diving, a College Recruitment Seminar was held for rising juniors and seniors aspiring to compete at the collegiate level. The session offered valuable insights into navigating the recruitment process, effectively communicating with coaches, understanding the evolving landscape of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), and what to expect as a student-athlete in college diving.

• Male Team Champion: GC Divers
• Overall Team Champion: Razorback Diving Academy

Junior Division

• Boys Team Champion: GC Divers
• Girls Team Champion: Charger Dive Club
• Overall Team Champion: GC Divers

Masters Division

• Men’s Team Champion: Jersey Diving Academy
• Women’s Team Champion: Jersey Diving Academy
• Overall Team Champion: Jersey Diving Academy

AAU President Jo Mirza shared his reflections on the week’s significance:

Each day these athletes from all around the country showcased amazing talent to go along with even more impressive comradery and sportsmanship for their fellow athletes.”

With more than 600 divers from across the country, the 2025 AAU Diving National Championships once again proved to be the premier platform for amateur diving, building the future of the sport while fostering lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences.
