RIVERSIDE, Cali. (July 21, 2025) – The penultimate day of the 2025 AAU Diving National Championships concluded with eight more national champions crowned in some of the most competitive age groups of the week. With the energy rising at the Riverside Aquatic Complex, athletes in the 16–18 age groups took center stage, delivering high-caliber performances and compelling finishes.
Day 6 National Champions:
The day included a standout double-podium performance from Simran Shukla, who not only captured gold in the Girls 16-Year-Old 3M but also paired with Ariya Suwan to win the Synchro 16–18 Girls 3M title, solidifying Pike Dive Academy’s presence at the top of the leaderboard.
“Day after day, our athletes continue to impress—not just with their diving but with their discipline and sportsmanship,” said Joe Chirico, Director of AAU Diving. “The 16-18 age groups bring out some of the best competition in the country, and today was no exception. From first-time national champions to returning title holders, we saw incredible talent and poise under pressure.”
With more than 600 athletes competing throughout the week, the 2025 AAU Diving National Championships have become the world’s largest diving competition this year. The final day of competition will wrap on July 22 with remaining springboard events and a closing celebration of all participants and volunteers.
