AAU Diving announces qualifying sites
Orlando, Fla. (Jan. 10, 2025) – On the heels of a fantastic 2024 season with many firsts and new goals reached, AAU Diving is thrilled to announce the qualifying sites for the upcoming 2025 RWB season! With the outstanding performance of the AAU National Team selected at last year’s RWB Team National Championships and their success at the Roma Junior Cup this past July, we are expanding our qualifying sites from six to nine! This means more opportunities for divers to compete for a spot on their respective Red, White, or Blue teams and a chance to represent AAU/USA in the 2025 season.
The qualifying sites for the 2025 RWB season are as follows:
Red Team Qualifiers
● North: Beaverton, OR (Tualatin Hills Dive Club) – April 4-6
● Central: Ft. Collins, CO (NorCo Diving) – April 4-6
● South: Walnut, CA (Claremont-Pomona Dive Club) – (tentative!!) April 4-6
White Team Qualifiers
● North: Madison, WI (Wisconsin Dive Club) – April 4-6
● Central: Oxford, OH (OhK Diving Club) – March 28-30
● South: Houston, TX (Bay Area Stars Diving) – April 5-6
Blue Team Qualifiers
● North: Kingston, RI (Rhody Diving Club/Boston Area Diving) – April 5-6
● Central: Lynchburg, VA (Liberty Diving Academy) – April 11-13
● South: Orlando, FL (Orlando Dive Academy) – April 4-6
The top six divers in each qualifying event will advance to represent their Red, White, or Blue team at the 2025 AAU Red, White and Blue National Diving Championships, to be held Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26, 2025, at the Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics Center in Huntersville, NC. This championship will serve as an opportunity for divers to earn a coveted spot on the AAU National Team with an international event opportunity this Fall.
Exciting News: Qualifiers Lead to International Competition!
In addition to advancing to Nationals, the AAU Red, White, and Blue Qualifiers will also serve as selection events for the AAU National Team that will compete at the Rijeka Open in Rijeka, Croatia, July 3-6, 2025. The winners of the A, B, C, D, and 19+ Collegiate events at the qualifiers will be offered an opportunity to represent AAU on this international stage, showcasing their skills against top divers from around the globe.
