AAU Nominated for Six 2025 SportsEvents Media Group Reader’s Choice Awards

The SportsEvents Media Group Reader’s Choice Awards have arrived, and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) has been nominated for six awards ranging from premier events to celebrated event managers. Voting is open through December 31st, and the link to vote is here: Reader’s Choice Award Voting. You can vote daily for each award category.
It is thanks to the hardworking volunteers, leadership, and members around the country that the AAU has been recognized by the SportsEvents Readers’ Choice Awards. We are dedicated to bringing the best events possible to our members every year and are looking forward to another exciting season of AAU competitions.
The AAU and its leadership are in the running for the following awards.
Best Live or Virtual Sporting Event: AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships
Best Live or Virtual Sports Event Planner: Todd Skovron, National Director of AAU Baseball
Best Long-Term Partnership Between Planner & Destination: AAU & Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
Emerging Sports Events Industry Leader: Jo Mirza, President of the Amateur Athletic Union
Emerging Sports Events Planner: Jo Mirza, President of the Amateur Athletic Union
The Most Anticipated Sporting Event to Watch: 2025 Junior National Volleyball Championships
and the 58th AAU Junior Olympic Games
AAU was able to win three awards last year for Most Anticipated Sporting Event to Watch, Emerging Sports Events Industry Leader, and Best Sports Event Planner. However, this year is an even greater opportunity to show these fantastic events and people some love, and help them win the Reader’s Choice Awards.
