AAU League Based Football National Championships
Sixty (60) teams across even and odd aged divisions traveled to Davenport, Florida for the 2022 AAU League Based Football National Championships. Teams from all around the country made their way to the Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Florida to fight for a national championship trophy.

This marked the 8th year that Davenport played host to the event. This year was a little bit different however, as all Championship games will be played at Bryant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida. Bryant Stadium is home to the Lakeland High School Dreadnaughts. The Lakeland Dreadnaughts are 7-time Florida State Champions in football and have alumni such as Mike and Maurkice Pouncey who had successful careers in the National Football League (NFL).

Odd Aged Divisions kicked things off from November 29 through December 3. Teams were split into four (4) divisions: 7u, 9u, 11u, and 13u.

In the 7u Division, the Next Generation Defenders brought the juice and tackled the Central Georgia Grizzlies in overtime of the national championship game. The Sharon Hill Ramblers took down the Columbia Warhawks in the championship game to be crowned champions of the 9u Division. West Philly Panthers went undefeated on their way to the 11u National Championship. In the 13u Division, Olney Elite was able to take down the Columbia Warhawks for the second time of the week to earn their championship rings.

The Even Aged Divisions took over on December 7 with pool play starting in the morning. Teams were split into four (4) divisions: 8u, 10u, 12u, and 14u.

As parents and fellow athletes filled up Bryant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida, four teams went home as AAU National Champions. Starting off the action on championship day, the Cordele Cobras defeated the Vero Beach Foundation Indians 7-0 in the 8u title game. Middle Georgia Power and the East Orlando Predators went back and forth in one of the most entertaining games of the week, with Middle Georgia outlasting the East Orlando Predators 13-12 in the 10u championship game. In the 12u Division, the South Carolina Bulldogs Elite proved to everyone that their running game was on another level. Nobody could stop the run game all week as the Bulldogs Elite team coasted to a 41-16 victory in the championship game. Finishing the day off was a battle between the Titusville Terriers and Virginia Vipers in the 14u Division title game. The Titusville Terriers came up with crucial defensive stops late in the game to take a 19-8 win over the Vipers and claim their AAU National Championship rings.
