The 2022 AAU Track & Field Primary Nationals and Club Championships are set to kick-off in Orlando, Florida beginning on Monday, July 11 and will run through July 16th at Dr. Phillips High School.

The nations best runners will converge on the Central Florida area to compete for an AAU national title and a chance to qualify for the 2022 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Greensboro, North Carolina July 29 - August 6, 2022.  The AAU Junior Olympic Games are the largest multi-sport in the nation with the track and field event drawing approximately 13,000 participants each year. It will be the 56th edition of the Games which first began in 1967.

The younger age groups (ages 5 - 8) will compete in the Primary Nationals which begin on Monday, July 11 and conclude on Tuesday, July 12. More than six hundred (600) girls and boys athletes will participate, marking this as the largest Primary Nationals to date. States represented include Arkansas, Alabama, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvannia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

On July 12, AAU Club Championships will see approximately 3800 girls and boys athletes (ages 10 - 18) compete for an AAU title.
States represented include Arkansas, Alabama, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvannia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.  Plus teams from the Cayman and Bahama Islands will be in attendance.
