The AAU Elementary School National Duals will take place this weekend in Kingsport, Tennessee, while the AAU Middle School and Freshman/Sophomore National Duals will be going on in Des Moines, Iowa.

Kingsport, Tenn. & Des Moines, Iowa (April 8, 2022) – It is going to be a busy weekend of team wrestling in Kingsport and Des Moines. The AAU Elementary School National Duals will take place this weekend in Kingsport, Tennessee, while the AAU Middle School and Freshman/Sophomore National Duals will be going on in Des Moines, Iowa. Teams will go head to head on the mat, looking to get the pin and take home a title.
The Meadow View Convention Center will play host for the AAU Elementary School Duals. Teams will consist of up to 19 weight classes and 6 alternates. Competition will begin Friday, April 8 at 4 p.m. and will resume Saturday at 9 a.m.
The AAU Middle School National Duals begin today with weigh-ins. The wrestling will begin on Saturday, April 9 starting at 8 a.m. The MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex will play host for the teams. In 2021, Team Iowa Black captured the championship, but we wait to see if they will be able to repeat.
The AAU Freshman and Sophomore National Duals are also being held at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex in West Des Moines, Iowa. Teams will consist of 15 weights and 5 alternates. The Legends of Gold team walked away with gold last year, but will they be up for the challenge to become champions again?
