ORLANDO, Fla. - The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) held its 127th AAU National Convention at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida this past week, October 19-23. During the weeklong conference of meetings and strategic planning, AAU leadership dedicated a luncheon to honor Lifetime Members, Hall of Fame Inductees, Years of Service, and Presidential Leadership Awards for their countless hours of effort and dedication to hosting amateur athletics across the country for the AAU. Individual sport awards were also given out in sport meetings.

AAU Hall of Fame Award Inductees this year included a class of five tremendous volunteers- Eddie Clinton, Dave Davis, Antoinette Dubose, Ben Dubose and Charles “Coach O” Oliver. This award has been given out since 1988 to those AAU volunteers who – through their efforts -- have had a lasting impact on the AAU organization and amateur athletic in the United States and beyond.
