AAU Diving Alumni Represent the United States in Tokyo

Nine out of the 11 members of the U.S. Olympic Team competed in AAU

ORLANDO, Fla - AAU alumni take center stage at this year's Olympics in Diving.  Nine (9) out of the eleven (11) members of ths U.S. Olympic Diving Team competed in AAU.

Tyler Downs started in AAU diving in 2011.  He won the 1M, 3M and tower at the 2020 AAU diving National Championships in Noblesville, Indiana last year. 

Joining him on the men's side, are Andrew Capobianco who also began his AAU career in 2011 with AAU club George Taylor III DBA Long Island Divers and Brandon Loschiavo of Huntington Beach, California who first competed in AAU in 2009. Jordan Windle competed in AAU in 2014, 2014, and 2016 in Indiana.

The women's side has six (6) AAU alumni in this years Games including Hailey Hernandez, the youngest diver for the US teamat 18 years of age. She has competed with GC Divers AAU club since 2008. Rounding out the AAU alumni on the team are Alison Gibson (started in AAU in 2010 with Longhorn Acquatics), Krysta Palmer (Stanford Diving Club in 2015, 2016), Jessica Parratto (started in 2005 with Charles River Diving), and Katrina Young (began in AAU in 2005 with Pacific Northwest Diving).
