AAU Cross Country: The Love Kitchen INC.

AAU Track and Field participants donated over 300 cans to The Love Kitchen, a full volunteer kitchen founded by twins, Helen and Ellen. Cans were dropped off at the 2019 AAU Cross Country National Championships in Knoxville, Tennessee. The first 100 participants were given free AAU Cares shirts.

The Love Kitchen provides meals, clothing and emergency food packages to homebound, homeless and unemployed people of all races and faiths. The Love Kitchen’s purpose is to provide nourishment for anyone who is hungry and to establish a community center to serve as a haven supporting area children and their families.
