RECAP: 2019 AAU Inline Hockey Junior Olympics

After 256 games, the rinks have been swept for the last time of the 2018-19 AAU Inline Hockey season. Approximately 1,006 athletes turned out for the 2019 AAU Inline Hockey Junior Olympics in Kapolei, Hawaii.

KAPOLEI, Hawaii – After 256 games, the rinks have been swept for the last time of the 2018-19 AAU Inline Hockey season. Approximately 1,006 athletes turned out for the 2019 AAU Inline Hockey Junior Olympics in Kapolei, Hawaii. A total of 17 divisions took to the rinks, ranging from 8U to Masters. Twelve different states battled for the title of Champion, as well as six different countries in the International division.

Games started in a round robin format on Friday, July 5, narrowing to a semi-final, bronze and gold medal games. AAU Hockey awarded 25 teams with the title of AAU Junior Olympic Champion. Six of those titles went to the host team, KIHA of Hawaii.
