HOW TO START A CLUB (or team)
Get a membership and start a club by CLICKING HERE.
Club LEVEL 1 = teams can compete in AAU events.
Club LEVEL 2 = teams can compete in AAU events AND club can host AAU events.
Club LEVEL 3 = teams can compete in AAU events AND club can host AAU events. Rights to AAU's logo and non-profit code.
Once registered through AAU, get your 6-digit CLUB CODE (ex. WYABY9).
Athletes get their AAU membership and link their membership to your club with club code.
Ensure all athletes use their LEGAL birthday and are eligible to play in proper age division.
Verify your club teams by using an AAU verified roster for each division (direct roster link).
Ensure your coaches have AAU memberships and are added to your team rosters.
Register for an event through AES - Advanced Event System.
You are all set! Tournament directors should contact you to make sure your team(s) are accepted into their tournaments.
Requirement for all Club Directors and Coaches
PCA - Positive Coaching Alliance
Year 1: Double-Goal Coach I: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons
Year 2: Double-Goal Coach II: Culture, Practices and Games
Year 3: Double-Goal Coach III: Developing Triple-Impact Competitors
Year 4+ on rotational basis of the previous 3 consecutive years.

Every director and coach MUST learn how to CORRECTLY score keep, officiate, and line judge.
Club Directors are responsible for their coaches and athletes using AAU methods correctly. We encourage you to provide a scoring clinic for your teams in order to be successful prior to their first tournament. A refresher each year is important for even the seasoned athletes, coaches, and directors.
