ORLANDO, Fla. – More than 1,400 young futsal players are on their way to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex this week for the 2019 AAU World Futsal Championships. 146 teams have currently registered for this international tournament. Eleven indoor futsal courts will be utilized across the venue.

Registration opens Tuesday, July 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an exclusive Opening Ceremonies for participants and spectators at 6 p.m. Pool play will begin Wednesday, July 24 – Thursday, July 25, followed by bracket play starting Friday, July 26.

The four-day tournament hosts a range of age divisions from 8U to Adult level. Athletes hail from seven different countries, including Mexico, Haiti, Brazil, Columbia, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
