Starting an Event?
AAU Helpful Hints at Creating Your Own Event:
· Choose your type of event: Regional and District Championship, Invitationals, Leagues, Tournament, Clinics and more
· Start planning 180 days prior to event
· Finalize plans with your facility before licensing
· Recruit adequate number of qualified officials, staff, and volunteers
· Prepare entry packets which includes but not limited to: Cover Letter, General Info and Rules, Sign-Up Sheet, Entry Fee, AAU membership
· Contact National AAU Sport Manager for promotional support
