To purchase a club membership you must first obtain the memberships of the representatives or contacts that will be listed on the club application.  Club membership is not renewalable.  You may purchase for 1, 2 or 3 years.

Any AAU club that hosts an AAU licensed event, other than practice, will need to join as a Club Level B or C. There will be no refunds if the Club has already joined. No AAU club may use the name 'AAU' (or any derivation thereof) in its club’s legal name.

 

To start a club:


  1. Purchase AAU non-athlete membership of the club contacts. 
    After application and background screen has been approved, member will receive an email with an AAU membership ID.
     
  2. Purchase AAU club membership (must have AAU membership ID to complete this club application).
    At the end of this process, you will receive your AAU club code.
     
  3. For details on the six (6) AAU club levels (Standard A, B, or C and Non-Profit Tier 1, 2 or 3). Visit this page, click here
     
  4. Instruct parents to purchase an individual athlete membership for their child. Give parents your AAU club code – the parents will then enter this code during the athlete application process.
     
  5. Print the club’s Verification of Insurance to secure a practice facility or request a Certificate of Insurance. 

Once accepted, AAU club memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Athlete Membership Fees

YOUTH PROGRAM (All Sports)

Youth Program consists of athletic participation for ages as defined by AAU youth sport rules. Youth membership allows participation and insurance coverages in any and all youth sports.

ADULT PROGRAM

Adult Program consists of athletic participation for ages as defined by AAU adult sports rules. Adult athlete membership is sport specific and allows participation and insurance coverages for one sport only.

An adminstrator, bench personnel, coach, instructor, manager, official, team leader, tournament director, volunteer or other adult must register as an AAU Non-Athlete.
