2022 AAU Super Regionals are coming to Greenville, South Carolina

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), All or Nothing Performance, & VisitGreenvilleSC are working together to host this event.

GREESVILLE, S.C. - The AAU Basketball Super Regionals are coming to Greenville, South Carolina starting March 25th through March 27th, 2022. The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), All or Nothing Performance, & VisitGreenvilleSC are working together to host this event. The Amateur Athletic Union is the WORLD’S LARGEST YOUTH SPORTS ORGANIZATION with more than 700,000 members in the United States annually.

Founded in 1888, the AAU has more than 45 sports under their umbrella including basketball, volleyball, karate, football, baseball, track, & many more. The AAU is also the only youth sports organization that has a relationship with both the WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort, hosting many event each year at ESPN'S Wide World of Sports Complex.

VisitGreenvilleSC has helped the AAU put this large event together. We will have more than 100 teams from 12 different states represented. Boys' and Girls' teams that play in the AAU Super Regionals will get preferred seeding in the AAU World Championships hosted in Orlando, FL. Along with the NCAA men’s tournament, this will be the second largest basketball event that VisitGreenvilleSC has helped put together in 2022. 

The event will be held in Greenville, South Carolina a premier destination location. It is the halfway point between Charlotte, North Carolina & Atlanta, Georgia and is filled with shops, boutiques, art galleries, museums, outdoor activities, and more. Parents, coaches and players will get to experience all the city has to offer while competing.

This event will feature teams from all over the country. The Skills Factory out of Atlanta, GA will bring their 5th & 8th Grade teams. Their 2024 team won the NIKE EYBL circuit last season. Their program is one of the largest travel basketball programs in the state of Georgia. They have also produced many college prospects as well. It will also feature the Boo Williams program out of Hampton, VA. Some of the most famous alumni from that program include JJ Reddick, Allen Iverson, Joe Smith, Alonzo Mourning, & JR Reid, just to name a few. Other big name teams coming to Greenville include Team Loaded NC 919 (ranked number 1 in the state of North Carolina), Family Over Fame out of Washington DC, Georgia Stars, & Team Charlotte. This tournament is going to be special.

The Amateur Athletic Union appreciates All or Nothing Performance & VisitGreenvilleSC efforts to host this event, together. This event will be the first of many AAU-licensed sporting events hosted by the two organizations.
