For both boys and girls, clubs from 3rd grade through 8th grade are given points based on their finish in AAU licensed events.

ORLANDO, Fla. - AAU Boys and Girls Basketball clubs are reminded to check where they stand on a local, region, and national scale on AAU-Rankings.com.

For both boys and girls, clubs from 3rd grade through 8th grade are given points based on their finish in AAU licensed events.

First place – 10 points
Second place – 8 points
Third place – 6 points
Fourth place – 4 points
All other participating teams – 2 points
 
AAU Basketball events are categorized in three tiers: Select, Premier, and World Championship/Showcase Events. Points earned in each type of tournament counts for a different percentage of a club’s total points. AAU Basketball Select events are valued at 25 percent of a team’s total, AAU Basketball Premier Events count for 35 percent while the AAU National Championship/Showcase Event will be 40 percent of the point total.
