More Than 2,600 Elite Athletes Set to Tip Off in Orlando at AAU Boys’ Basketball Super Showcases

Marquee annual AAU boys’ basketball event expected to attract hundreds of college coaches from across the nation

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 25, 2018) – More than 2,600 elite athletes from across the nation will go head-to-head at the AAU Boys’ Basketball Super Showcases (July 25-29) events, which return to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort this week.

Top teams participating in AAU Super Showcases include: BABC, Boo Williams Summer League, All Ohio Red, Georgia Stars, New York Lightning, TMP Basketball, Florida Sons, Team United, TEAM POWER, Alabama Fusion, KC Spurs, SEBA, Indiana Elite, Fastbreak, Phenom University, Team Final, Team Knight, NY Jayhawks and CP25.

The AAU National Championships and Super Showcases are the proving ground for the next generation of college and professional superstars. A number of current NBA stars, including Dwyane Wade (Chicago Bulls), Chandler Parsons (Memphis Grizzlies), reigning two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors) and 2016 NBA Champion Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), competed in these events as youth athletes.
