Dear Athlete or Coach in the Middle Atlantic District : 
Scholarship Program:
As you may be aware, the Middle Atlantic District AAU has established a scholarship/grant program to recognize the athletic ability, sportsmanship and community service of an athlete or a team/club from our District AAU. This award may be used in many ways. Examples would include but not be limited to training, competition, travel, and education.
Schedule:
We have made a few changes to how this process works. Beginning with this term, the schedule of terms will be changed to align with the AAU membership year. That makes the postmark deadline for the new first term November 30th , then February 28th , May 30th and August 30th respectively. While this makes the first term a little shorter this time around, it will ultimately make it easier to ensure that all applicants have current memberships.

You will find the Middle Atlantic District Scholarship/Grant Application online at our Middle Atlantic Web site www.ma-aau.org This Scholarship/Grant is available to all Middle Atlantic District athletes and teams/clubs with current memberships. If you are a coach or Sports Chairperson, please distribute this information to your membership. It is hoped that athletes and teams/clubs from all of our member sports will partake of this wonderful opportunity.
